On 13 November 2023 the 3rd webinar of SUNRISE project has been organized by the project partner POLITECNICO DI TORINO and Warrant Hub as dissemination manager. The third webinar of Sunrise focused on the production of polymer-based coatings, from the manufacturing processes to the desired properties of the products. In particular, Next Technology Tecnotessile, which is a private research organization devoted to textile innovation, discussed about the chemical treatments and the additives generally applied to recycled polymers to make them suitable for fibers formation, while Radici, an Italian company leader in the fabrication of hi-tech carpets, explained all the steps to assemble together the primary fibers into an entire carpet prototype.
